Function Keysturned off — so “F9“ doesn’t work
‘I haverepaginated by pressing ctrl+A then F9. But it does not remove the bookmarkerrors in the document’
Oftenpressing ctrl+A successfully highlights the entire contents of the document, but pressing F9 does nothing to remove formatting errors. This may be becauseyour function keys are disabled or turned off.
To checkwhether your function keys are enabled, try another function on MS Word usingfunction keys — for example, “Shift + F7” (at the same time) to open theThesaurus. If this does not work, then your function keys may be disabled ornot working properly. You are still able to repaginate by right clicking on thehighlighted document (including table of contents) and selecting ‘Update field’ from the menu.

In this section, you can see the settings of your print options andwhich ones are ticked and unticked. Make sure ‘Print hidden text’ is unticked (seebelow) then click ‘OK’. By default, Word automatically repaginates your document as you work. At times, this may slow down the program to the point where you consider it unacceptable. The solution is to turn off the background repagination. Word will then only paginate the document when you print or perform some other action that requires pagination (such as using Print Preview). To turn off background repagination, follow these steps:
